There are endless possibilities when it comes to 5-minute crafts. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

-Pom pom keychain: Cut a piece of cardboard into a small rectangle. Wrap yarn around the cardboard until it is completely covered. Cut the yarn off of the cardboard and use sharp scissors to cut through all of the loops to create pom-poms. Attach a key ring to one of the pomp and you’re done!

-Foam block letters: Trace a letter onto a piece of foam and cut it out. Use fabric paint to add colour, then add patterned paper or scrapbooking paper behind the letter to make all the other colours pop. Attach a keyring or ribbon to hang them on your wall!

-Spa soak: Fill the bottom of a plastic container with cotton balls soaked in fragrant lotion. Add some water and you’ve got yourself a spa in a box!

-Phone stand: Cut a piece of cardboard into a small rectangle. Wrap the rubber band around the middle of the cardboard, then wrap yarn around the rubber band until it is completely covered. Cut the yarn off of the cardboard and use sharp scissors to cut through all of the loops to create pompoms. Glue the pompoms to one end of the cardboard and you’ve got yourself a phone stand!

-Cupcake liner flowers: Cut out circles from different colours of cupcake liners. Glue them together in layers, starting with the largest circle on the bottom and ending with the smallest on top. Add a stem and leaves, or use it as is!

Hammer nails around the edge and attaches twine or ribbon as a hanger. Roll up pieces of construction paper and slide them into the nail frames. Hang your family photos!

-Sewing kit: Use empty containers such as film canisters, pill bottles and baby food jars to make sewing kits. Fill each container with a spool of thread, some safety pins and fabric pens.
